Once again we will be having a Thanksgiving Food Drive! On Thanksgiving Sunday, November 19, members of the congregation are asked to bring bags filled with food to help those who are hungry. Most helpful items needed: pasta, tomato sauce (plastic jars preferred), rice, beans, peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna, cereal, vegetables, canned meats. For those worshipping from home, they are invited to drop them by the church between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Monday to Friday during the preceding week. We invite you to consider making this a family project with everyone participating. The food donations will go to CUMAC/ECHO, our United Methodist Food Pantry in Paterson. CUMAC’s mission is to fight hunger and its root causes through a holistic, trauma-informed approach that provides groceries and basic necessities to families and individuals in need. Please give generously as these and all food pantries are struggling to meet the growing needs of the hungry in our area.
