Vincent Church will be assisting in caring for homeless families in July through Family Promise of Essex County (formerly IHN).  Due to COVID and other factors, the program no longer houses the families in houses of worship.  Now, the families are settled in a hotel or apartment and assistance is brought to them until they can be placed in permanent housing.  This is far less disruptive for the parents and children.  Our church is scheduled to provide assistance to the families the week of July 18.  We are seeking a few people to cook and package some dinners and bring them to church by Tuesday, July 18 by 10 a.m.  Also, we are seeking someone to shop for groceries (list and reimbursement provided) and deliver them to church by Tuesday, July 18 by 10 a.m.  If you can assist in this compassionate ministry in one of these ways, please contact Barbara Carrino (Vincentumc@verzion.Net) or 973-667-5440.
