Sunday Worship Service

Vincent United Methodist Church will gather for worship online this Sunday morning, May 31 at 10:00 a.m. on Pentecost Sunday when we remember the descending of the Holy Spirit on the disciples which gave birth to the church.  Our service will be available for viewing on Facebook Live.  There will be hymns and special music and a time of recognition of our Vincent Church Heroes in this time of crisis.  Rev. LeDuc will share a children’s sermon and share the message “God Is on the Move.”  Join us live at 10:00 a.m. or view the service any time afterwards.

 Pause for Prayer

There is a movement inviting people to “Pause for Prayer” at 7:00 p.m. each evening for all those being affected by the coronavirus pandemic – locally, nationally, and globally.  Perhaps set a phone alarm and pause for a moment of prayer.  There is power in unified prayer and a sense of connection as hearts are lifted to God for grace and healing.

“Reflection” Group Online

The “Reflection” Small group is now meeting after church every week by video conference.  The purpose is to reflect on the sermon and how to live out the message, and to be in fellowship with and pray for one another.  The meeting is led by Win Shin on Sundays from 11:30-12:30 on Zoom.  Contact the Church Office for more information.

“Hebrews: Grace and Gratitude” Study Group Online

Vincent Church is having a study entitled “Hebrews: Grace and Gratitude” based on a book by David deSilva.  It is being held via Zoom video on Monday mornings at 9:00 a.m.  The study will help participants see the connection between God’s grace in their lives by salvation through Christ and the call to respond with gratitude by participating in God’s mission in the world.  To participate, contact the Church Office for more information.

Care Kitchen Virus Hiatus

The Care Kitchen held on Saturdays at Vincent Church is suspending operations until at least May 31 due to the Coronavirus.
