Sunday Worship Service

Vincent United Methodist Church will gather for worship this Sunday morning, November 26 at 10:00 a.m. on the Last Sunday after Pentecost.  The Chancel Choir will sing and Rev. LeDuc will share a children’ sermon and give the message “In Christ Is Our Hope.”  Every Sunday, nursery care and Church School for the children is available during the worship hour and a time of fellowship and refreshments follows the service.

 Living Nativity – December 3

Vincent United Methodist Church will present its annual Living Nativity on Sunday evening, December 3.  From 7:00-8:00 p.m., members of the congregation will present short portrayals every 20-30 minutes of the birth of Jesus in a stable setting on the front lawn of the church.  The free presentation will include Angels, Shepherds, Wise Men, Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, and live animals – including sheep, goats, donkeys and maybe more!  Refreshments will be served.  All are invited to come and view this timely and timeless reminder of the heart of Christmas – the birth of Jesus Christ.

 Christmas Family Night – December 3

Vincent Church invites the community to come join them for a potluck supper and family evening on Sunday, December 3 from 5:00 - 7:00.  There will be Christmas songs, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, a pot luck supper, and crafts.  Everyone is invited to bring a dish to share for dinner and a canned goods for those in need.  Reservations are requested but not required with how many will be coming and can be made by contacting the Church Office by phone or email.  All are welcome.

 The Mitten Tree

In the spirit of Christmas, the VUMC Missions Commission has put up the Mitten Tree in the front foyer of the church and is inviting people to bring mittens, hats, gloves, scarves, etc. to put on it.  The items will be donated to local organizations for distribution to people in need.  They can be dropped off at the church from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
