  Week of April 23

Vincent United Methodist Church will gather for worship this Sunday morning, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. on the Fifth Sunday of Easter.  The Chancel Choir will sing and there will be the Service of Confirmation. Rev. LeDuc will share a children’s sermon and continue an Easter sermon series with the message “Resurrection Power: Refresh!”  Every Sunday, nursery care and Church School for the children is available during the worship hour and a time of fellowship and refreshments follows the service.

 CBP Presents “The Glass Menagerie” – April 26-28 at 8

A classic comes to Nutley when the CherryBlossomPlayers:LLC troupe stages Tennessee Williams' beloved "The Glass Menagerie", April 26th - 28th, 2018. "The Glass Menagerie" concerns single mother Amanda Wingfield as she lives her impoverished life in a cramped urban apartment with her now 20-something children. Abandoned by her husband years before, an impromptu dinner party for her son's work colleague sets off a series of misfortunes. Performances begin at 8:00PM in Philhower Chapel, Vincent UMC; tickets are $12 for students/ senior citizens (65+) and $14 for general admission.

 National Day of Prayer - May 3

Thursday, May 3 is the National Day of Prayer.  People of all faiths are invited that day to spend some special time in prayer for our world, our country, and our leaders.  The Nutley Clergy Fellowship will hold a short Prayer Service at 12 noon in front of Nutley Town Hall.  All are invited.  Whether it is at town hall, at home, at work or anywhere, all are invited to lift prayers to God for our community, our country, and our world.

 Flea Market Items Needed

Donations are now being received for the church’s annual Flea Market on May 5.  Household and kitchen items, bedding, toys, clothes in good condition, books, electronics, decorations, furniture and more are welcome (except TVs or computer items).  Contact the Church Office to arrange a donation.

 Annual Flea Market – Saturday, May 5

There will be a Flea Market at Vincent United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Items for sale will include jewelry, bric-a-brac, clothing, furniture, toys, bedding, small appliances, and more.  A café will be open as well.  All are invited.

 Sunday Lunch Club Small Group

The Sunday Lunch Club will meets bi-weekly on Sundays from 11:30-1:30 for lunch and a scriptural study and discussion on revival.  Win Shin, a Certified Lay Servant, will lead the group.  Contact the Church Office for dates and more information.
