Sunday Worship Service
Vincent United Methodist Church will gather for worship this Sunday morning, February 17 at 10:00 a.m. on the Sixth Sunday after Epiphany.  The Chancel Choir will sing and there will be the Sacrament of Baptism.  Rev. LeDuc will share a children’s sermon and conclude a sermon series on “The Anatomy of Peace.”  Every Sunday, nursery care and Church School for the children is available during the worship hour and a time of fellowship and refreshments follows the service.

“Introducing the Old Testament” Study Group
Vincent Church is having a study entitled “Introducing the Old Testament” by Rev. Anne Robertson.  It is being held on Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9:00 p.m. and Wednesday mornings from 10:30-12 through February 27.  The study will help participants to better understand this part of the Bible in the context of the world in which it was written and how it can impact lives.  It is being held in the Church Library and is led by Rev. LeDuc.  All are welcome.

CBP presents “Steel Magnolias” – 2/21-23 @ VUMC
“Steel Magnolias” presented by cbp:LLC. Robert Harling's touching tribute to his real-life sister will have you laughing, crying, and reminiscing all at once. An overprotective mother and her diabetic daughter exchange gossip, jabs, praise, affection, chuckles, support, and love with the workers and patrons of a small Louisiana beauty parlor. “Pray and Color” Group
“Pray and Color” is a creative spiritual study being led by Becky Olivo on Wednesday mornings from 9:15-10:15 in the Church Library.  The study includes a time for sharing concerns amidst creative, spiritual and meditative coloring and prayer.  All are welcome.

Church School
Vincent United Methodist Church’s Church School has classes for children from age 2 through grade 12 and meets during the worship hour each Sunday.  The curriculum being used is “Deep Blue” featuring Bible stories, a weekly DVD clip, games, crafts, and activities to help children “grow deeper in their faith.”  Children and their families are invited to come any Sunday or to call the Church Office for more information.
