United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
VUMC United Methodist Women meet in small groups called circles at least monthly to share delicious meals and informative and enlightening programs on a wide variety of topics, and they raise funds for much-needed projects for both the church and the wider community. Their annual flea market, which includes a great many treasures, is legendary in our community and draws enthusiastic customers from Nutley and beyond.
